Barrier-free Websites for Needy Communities

Lam Soon has committed to create a barrier-free internet environment for society. Since 2002, Lam Soon web sites have won “Web Care Award” which was organized by the Hong Kong Internet Professionals Association. It shows our commitment in trying to eliminate the digital environment dividing our society by providing equal opportunities in learning and accessing Internet to the needy communities, so as to improve their daily lives.

Barrier-free websites under Lam Soon Group include Group website, divisional website of flour, oil, detergent, as well as haomama.com Hong Kong and China sites.

ACCA Approved Employer in Professional Development

 

ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is the largest and fastest-growing global professional accountancy body. Lam Soon was awarded "ACCA Approved Employer in Professional Development" in Feb 2007.

 

Walks For Millions

Walks For Millions

Lam Soon is supportive for “Hong Kong and Kowloon Walks For Millions”and around 100 staff participated the walk in January 2006.

Anti-SARS
Anti-SARS

Lam Soon held an Anti-SARS charitable sales of “Knife” brand edible oils during 2003 Mothers' day period. Lam Soon had also made a donation of HK$500,000 to The Community Chest to support those families suffered from SARS in the same year.
